Speak My Talk privacy policy

Short version: we do not collect any of your data. Everything stays on your device.

Who we are

Speak My Talk is made by Ability Enhancer Apps, a free, independent project. You can contact us at abilityenhancerapps@gmail.com.

What data we collect

None. Speak My Talk does not collect, send, sell or share any personal data. The app does not connect to any server.

Voice recordings and words

When you train a word, the app records your voice and saves it, with the word you typed, only on your device. We never receive these recordings. You can delete single recordings, single words, or everything at any time in the app (Settings, then “Delete everything”). Removing the app also removes this data.

Microphone

The app asks to use your microphone. It uses the microphone only to record your words and recognise them, on your device. It does not listen in the background.

Accounts

There are no accounts. You do not need to give a name, email or phone number.

Analytics, ads and tracking

The app has no analytics, no ads, no tracking and no third-party code that collects data.

Backups

You can choose to save a backup file. It is saved only where you choose to put it, such as your phone’s files. The backup contains your voice recordings, so keep it private. We never receive it.

Children

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13, because the app collects no data at all.

This website

This website has no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. Our web host (GitHub Pages) may keep basic technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date.
